Bomb blast hits Sabon Gari in Kano state




A car loaded with Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) this evening killed many people in Sabon Gari area of Kano metropolis.
A correspondent reports that the car was parked along middle road by Gold coast near a popular beer parlour around 9.pm.
 The sound of explosion was heard across the state metropolis by 9.20pm.
Residents of the area told A  correspondent that the car bomb exploded minutes after the driver who is a suspected Boko Haram joined a waiting tricycle. 
"The car exploded after the suspected sect member left the area. It killed many people and many others including children were injured," a resident told A correspondent.    
A correspondent reports that the last time when bomb exploded in the state was in July last year and it happened in the same Sabon Gari area of the state.

Reports from Kano indicate that there has been a bomb attack along Gold Coast road in Sabon Gari, Kano.
 The explosion occured about 30 minutes ago. The level of damage or lost of lives caused by the explosion is not yet known.
 In July last year,  a bus park was attacked in the same Sabon Gari of Kano where about 20 people died.
 The state held local government election Saturday  in which the All Progressives Congress (APC) defeated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
