Any time a celebrity is caught being racist, homophobic or intolerant in any way, that celebrity gets all the attention and we tend to forget about those who came before. But maybe we shouldn’t. With Donald Sterling taking all the heat, let’s not let the indiscretions of others escape our memory. Here are 10 celebrities who were outed as racist.


While Mel Gibson was being handcuffed for a DUI in 2006, he shouted to the police officer, “Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world.” But that was only the beginning. In 2010, on a threatening voicemail to his ex-wife, Gibson said he hoped she was “raped by a pack of “n-words”).
Rihanna posted a photo with racist overtones, directing it at Chris Brown’s Vietnamese girlfriend. In the post, Rihanna referred to Brown’s new girlfriend as “rice cakes.”
