Ashley Cole: Chelsea defender to leave Stamford Bridge

Ashley Cole says he does not think he will be at Chelsea next season and is seeking "another journey in my life" after eight years at Stamford Bridge.
The 33-year-old left-back, who announced his England retirement after 107 caps earlier this month, is out of contract this summer.
"I am weighing up my options for playing next season with my agent,

"Sadly, it does not look like Chelsea will be one of them."
Cole helped Chelsea win the Premier League title in 2010 as well as the 2012 Champions League.
He has also won four FA Cups with the Blues, to add to the three he secured with Arsenal, following his move to Stamford Bridge from the Gunners in August 2006.
Cole won the 2007 League Cup with Chelsea and was part of the club's Europa League triumph under interim manager Rafael Benitez in 2013.
But he endured a frustrating 2013-14 campaign under returning manager Jose Mourinho, starting just 15 Premier League games in a trophy-less season for the Blues.
"Now I'll be looking for another journey in my life," added Cole. "I hope it can be like my others, full of fun and of course win something."
Cole signed a one-year extension to his Chelsea contract, which was due to expire last summer, in January 2013.
But with a new deal at Stamford Bridge looking unlikely, Cole has resigned himself to leaving after 229 Premier League appearances.
"Thank you Chelsea for making my eight years a pleasure. We've been through a lot, good and bad," continued Cole.
"And of course the fans. How do I start, I can only say thank you for giving the boys confidence to win some amazing trophies.
"To the fans that have stood by me through thick and thin, I will always have you in my heart."
Earlier this month, Chelsea boss Mourinho said he did not think Cole would leave the club.
"I don't know but I don't think so. The club knows my opinion," said the Portuguese.
Last week Chelsea captain John Terry signed a new one-year deal to keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2015.

But the future of long-serving midfielder Frank Lampard, who is also out of contract this summer, has yet to be decided.
Cole retired from international football earlier this month after manager Roy Hodgson left him out of England's World Cup squad.
He made his international debut against Albania in March 2001 and went on to become only the seventh England player to reach a century of caps when he appeared in a friendly win over Brazil in February 2013.
Former Liverpool defender Alan Hansen, on his final Match of the Day appearance, said Cole was one of the greatest players the Premier League has seen.
"As a full-back for Arsenal, Chelsea and England there is nobody better in Premier League history," said the eight-time title winner.
"I would have taken him [to the World Cup] but I can understand why Roy Hodgson hasn't.
"I watched him play in the Champions League and against Liverpool and he was excellent.
"But he hasn't been playing a lot and that's probably the reason why Roy hasn't taken him."

Samuel Eto'o on his way out at Chelsea after he brands Jose Mourinho a 'fool'

Samuel Eto’o has sealed his Chelsea exit by labelling his manager Jose Mourinho a “fool” and taking a swipe at fellow strikers Fernando Torres and Demba Ba.
Mourinho was caught on camera by a French television station saying: “Eto’o is 32 years old, maybe 35, who knows?” Eto’o made light of the comments with an ‘old man’ celebration after scoring against Tottenham in March, but has clearly not forgiven Mourinho.
The 33-year-old scored 12 goals for Chelsea, one more than 30-year-old Torres and four more than 28-year-old Ba.
Eto’o is preparing for the World Cup with Cameroon and, when asked whether this will be his last appearance at the tournament, the striker said: “Thanks for informing me that it will be my last World Cup.
“Today, I am 33 years old. And it is not because a fool called me an old man that you must believe it. And you may have noticed that the old man was better than the youngsters.”

Samir nasri girlfriend insult France coach for picking Nasir to World CUP

Samir Nasri's girlfriend Anara Atanes slams French decision to drop Nasir for 2014 fifa world cup on A

Man City's Nasri left out of French World Cup squad

France coach Didier Deschamps named his squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil on Tuesday with no place for Manchester City star Samir Nasri, prompting a furious tirade from the player’s girlfriend on Twitter.

Despite helping City to claim a second Premier League title in three years this season, Nasri, who has won 41 international caps, has fallen out of favour with the national team following uninspiring displays during France’s two-legged World Cup qualifier play-off against Ukraine last year.
There have also been questions over his behaviour, with the midfielder receiving a three-match suspension handed down by the French Football Federation following a tirade directed at journalists during Euro 2012.
"Samir is an important player for Manchester City but he has not performed that well with France," Deschamps told French TV channel TF1.
"He is a starter at City, which is not the case with France and he has made clear that he is not happy when he is not (a starter), and I can tell you it can be felt in the squad.
"I built the best squad, I did not pick the 23 best French players."
The decision to leave Nasri out is unlikely to come as a shock to the player, who this month told France’s Canal Plus television that he expected to “watch the World Cup on TV” this summer.
However, it sparked an angry reaction from the player’s girlfriend, British model Anara Atanes.
“F**k france and f**k deschamps! What a s**t manager!” she tweeted shortly after the squad was announced.
“Incase u didnt read my tweet properly.... Ill repeat myself..... f**k FRANCE!!!!! And f**k deschamps!” she added a few minutes later.
Like Nasri, Abidal also failed to make it into the 23-man squad or the seven-man standby list. The 34-year-old has 67 caps for France, but has been used sparingly by Monaco boss Claudio Ranieri during the second part of the season.
Others absentees include City fullback Gael Clichy, with Deschamps instead picking the talented yet inexperienced Lucas Digne of Paris St Germain.
There are eight players aged under 25 in the squad, including the Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann, who made his international debut against the Netherlands in March.
France have been drawn in Group E for the June 12-July 13 tournament, alongside Switzerland, Ecuador and Honduras.
